Abstract

Folk literature is an important cultural carrier for all ethnic groups, passing on their history, culture, spiritual world and aesthetic sensibility through oral transmission. The fusion and innovation of modern media make the transmission and dissemination of folk literature form a new development trend. Among them, staging is an important means, which is mainly manifested by the joint efforts of governments, cultural holders and professional teams in multi-ethnic areas of contemporary China to create representative and typical excellent stage plays based on folk literature of different ethnic groups. In regions with multi-ethnic exchanges, interactions and intermingling, folk literature influences each other, and the sense of aesthetic commonality constitutes the psychological basis for resourcefulness of folk literature; the folklore attributes of folk literature determine the feasibility of its staging; the successful transformation of literature to stage art works depends on the internal logic of transformation. Therefore, an in-depth study of the special properties of folk literature and the "performance narrative" of folk literature and stage works is conducive to the preservation of the "authenticity" of cultural resources, the sustainable development of the staging of minority folk literature, and the positive social functions.
