TOTAL VIEWS
It further explains the extreme importance of training young Marxists, and puts forward many new thoughts, new viewpoints and new requirements for the training and education of young people, especially the training of young Marxists in colleges and universities. To this end, on May 15, 2007, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League launched the "Young Marxist Training Project" in Beijing. The implementation of the "Qingma Project" and the training of a large number of young Marxists armed with the latest achievements in the sinicization of Marxism and with firm ideals and convictions bear on the successor of the Party's cause, the prosperity of the country and the healthy growth of young people. Since the implementation of the Qingma Project more than ten years ago, colleges and universities around the country have continuously explored and innovated in theory .and practice, and achieved remarkable results, cultivating a large number of young people with ideals, abilities and responsibilities. However, in the implementation process of "Qingma Project", there are still some problems, such as insufficient condition guarantee, insufficient attention from some universities, and the work is only a formality. Under the new circumstances, the "Qingma Project" should be further promoted, and students should be educated in Marxism, so as to train qualified socialist builders and successors who are "politically competent and professionally competent" for further consolidating the Party's ruling position and modernization drive.
