Abstract

This study focuses on the relationship between primary and middle school students' family problems and school bullying, hoping to eventually form a solution for parents, aiming to reduce school bullying by intervening in families. Therefore, this paper adopts two research methods: questionnaire and expert interview. The questionnaires covered 525 parents and 489 elementary and junior high school students to explore the relationship between school bullying and family education. In addition, this study conducted in-depth interviews with two bullied students and two school-based psychology teachers. The above research concludes that the occurrence and deterioration of school bullying have a lot to do with a hostile family environment. When faced with the implementation or suffering of school bullying on their children, parents have problems such as insufficient cognition, improper handling, etc. Therefore, the physical and psychological damage caused by school bullying to children is aggravated to a certain extent. Undoubtedly, the family plays a vital role in the growth of children. However, the cultivation of parents' anti-school bullying awareness in China is still in its infancy. Educating parents in this regard will have a profound and positive impact.
