Abstract

Karl Heinrich Marx, as an outstanding philosopher and social scientist in the history of mankind, made outstanding contributions to the field of social science, and this paper will enumerate the superiority of Marxist social science and its analysis of current social problems. The paper is divided into three parts, the first of which is a comparison of the differences between Marxism and the pre-Marxian social science theories, focusing on four aspects: the relationship between "nature" and "society," the contribution of realistic social activities to history, and the fundamental properties of human beings and their alienation. The middle of the discussion is in the Marxist theory. In the middle, the development of Marxism in the nearly 200 years since its birth is analyzed from the perspectives of the Soviet Union, China, and the West. Finally, the two existing social contradictions, animal rights and gender dichotomy, are analyzed as case studies, and the future development of Marxism is briefly explained.

KEYWORDS: Marxism, human nature, sociality, practice, alienation
